Let’s All Play

Let’s All Play is a new movement to help local sporting clubs to encourage kids with intellectual disability (aged 6-13 years) to join their club.

Self Advocacy Sydney launched Let’s All Play in 2024 so that kids with intellectual disability have the same opportunity as anyone else to play sport.

Let’s All Play is designed to work with local sporting clubs across West and South West Sydney, providing tools, training and resources to create a supportive and fun environment where every child can participate and thrive in sports, regardless of ability.

The heart of Let’s All Play lies in its commitment to breaking down barriers and fostering inclusion. With the full backing of Self Advocacy Sydney, the program offers “Coach the Coach” resources, best-practice governance and educational campaigns to help clubs welcome children with intellectual disabilities into their sporting communities. By partnering with clubs from all types of sports, Let’s All Play is helping build a future where every child has the chance to play, belong, and succeed.
